DDump + Frontend is a free piece of software which includes Disc Dump, a reliable and versatile CD image creator, and a useful and easy-to-use graphical user interface to help you run DDump without using a DOS window. DDump offers you a variety of ripping options, covering various accuracy levels, speeds, and disc protection methods. It creates an ISO image, together with its corresponding CUE and LOG files.
Disc Dump offers an extensive range of options to help you overcome any difficulties that you may have ripping specific CDs. From a fast and reliable standard mode, to the slower but extremely accurate SecuROM mode, DDump can deal with almost all types of compact discs. It will create a reliable ISO image regardless of the protection method embedded in the disc – LaserLock, SafeDisc and SafeDisc2, or damaged dummy files. You can even set the program to “hide” from devices that can detect the presence of DDump. However, if high speed is what you need, DDump will run quickly through the disc and create the image ignoring all possible reading errors.
The front-end that interfaces with Disc Dump gives you the possibility of applying all its functionality easily, thanks to its clear and simple layout. However, you can always open a DOS window and apply the commands and their parameters manually.
